We proudly provide an extensive array of residential remodeling, landscaping and handyman services in both the Columbus, Ohio and Denver, Colorado areas.

Interior

We provide a range of interior services, encompassing the renovation of basements, bathrooms, bedrooms, laundry rooms, and beyond. This includes tasks such as permitting, demolition, framing, drywall repair, flooring installation, tiling, painting, window and door installation, mill work and carpentry applications. Additionally, we extend basic handyman services to customers seeking to address items on their homeowner 'To-Do' list.

Exterior

Our range of exterior services encompasses the design and installation of in-ground irrigation systems, as well as the removal and installation of sod, mulch, rock, edging, retaining walls, concrete, fences, and garden boxes, among other offerings. We also provide services for spring and fall clean-ups, power washing, and optimizing storage in garages and sheds. For budget-conscious customers, the option of booking these services in multiple phases can offer a more affordable approach to transforming your space.

Design Build Process

Step 1: Initial Consultation & Project Assessment

Planning your next home improvement project and need an estimate? Call, text or email! You'll connect with Dustin “Zeke” Szenderski who will discuss your project in detail and gather information regarding the scope, budget and timeline to create a clear understanding of the project requirements. Once these essential details are obtained, your project site visit is ready to be scheduled to meet for preliminary measurements.

Step 2: Tailored Design & Planning

Following the initial project site visit, a customized design plan will be created in collaboration with the client to integrate the client’s vision with consideration of the practical application and restrictions unique to each project. A comprehensive CAD drawing may be required specifying exact details regarding existing conditions and future changes. These may include structural modifications, landscape elevations, and design elements specific to products and materials desired by the client. This design concept is then presented to the client for a second discussion allowing for adjustments and refinements before proceeding to the bidding process. At this point in time, bids will be obtained from the necessary experts in the trades specific to the client’s project, and ZPS creates a final proposal for the client’s review regarding design, cost estimates and project schedule from takeoff to completion, including department of building inspections as needed.

Step 3: Estimate Acceptance, Contract Agreements and Scheduling

Once the final proposal is formally approved and accepted by the client, a contractual agreement will be reviewed by the client with ZPS regarding the terms and conditions specific to the client’s project. Then, the design plans and accompanying details can be sent to your local building department for permit and/or HOA approval, if necessary, and the project can officially be scheduled and transitioned into the construction phase. ZPS will coordinate material takeoff and crew scheduling to ensure the project progresses as efficiently as possible staying on budget and on time. Throughout this phase, the client has full access to ZPS via phone call, text and/or site visits, if necessary, to maintain an open line of communication regarding project progression.

Step 4: Construction, Installation & Inspections

Between project takeoff and final completion, the focus for ZPS is upholding the company motto, “Pride in Perfection”, in every aspect of the client’s project. ZPS will implement quality control assessments after each phase of project completion to ensure the workmanship standards meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations. ZPS and the client will also review the project during a site visit walk-through to ensure current site conditions are in line with respect to the proposed project design and schedule. Client feedback will be solicited to confirm 100% satisfaction to date, and change orders desired by the client will be considered and implemented, if possible, upon signing of an amended contractual agreement between ZPS and the homeowner.

Step 5: Final Walk-through, Punch List & Finishing Touches

As the final phase of the project nears completion, a final walk-through will be scheduled with the client to create a punch list of any design elements needing further attention to detail. ZPS and subcontractors will ensure thorough completion of the finishing touches and job site cleanup. This phase highlights ZPS’s commitment to delivering 100% customer satisfaction and staying true to the company motto, “Pride in Perfection”.
